Bush Flying Unlimited (BFU) isn't really a virtual airline (VA). We consider it a flying club and possibly a freelance charter operation. Although we do offer jobs, we don't have the corporate structure and requirements of a VA. In fact, we don't even specify what flight simulator you have to use. Most people use MSFS but you don't have to. FU3, XPlane, Pro Pilot, etc. are all welcome. What do we require?1. We're a bush operation so we use bush aircraft. There isn't a strict definition of what a bush aircraft is so when in doubt, ask in the forums. A good rule of thumb is that it's able to take off and land on small remote airstrip that isn't necessarily paved and doesn't look out of place in such an environment. So, for example, that pretty much rules out passenger jets and Harriers.2. Everyone at BFU must act in a professional manner. You can be goofy but no mud slinging and name calling.3. If you take a job, post a new one when you're done.Everyone here is friendly :-wave so if you have a question :-zhelp, don't hesitate to ask in the forums. There are no stupid questions :-hmmm at BFU, only screwy answers. *:-*For additional information, aircraft repaints, BFU bases and more, visit our web site at http://bfu.avsim.netPeter http://bfu.avsim.net...pics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums ModeratorRenegade/Seawolf Design Group (RSDG)

http://bfu.avsim.net...ics/logo75t.gifBush Flying Unlimited"At home in the wild"Looking for adventure? Hello Joao,Take a look at the Jobs & Pireps section of this forum, it will help you understand how we operate.Unlike a VA we don't operate a timetable - people devise (make up!) jobs, which they post on the forum. Sometimes a job is taken almost immediately, other times it might not get taken at all. Don't ask what makes the difference because I haven't got the faintest idea!!! :-)When the job has been flown, the pilot writes up a Pilot Report (Pirep) usually with pictures, and then posts it back up on the forum.Just about the only "rule" is that you need to post a new job whenever you take one - this ensures that we don't find ourselves with no jobs to fly.Your imagination is the only limit!!!Bernie_______________________________________If you haven't grown up by the time you're 50 - then you don't have to!!http://forums.avsim....files/90863.jpg

I don't understand the concept of a Virtual airline or a flying club such as this one. When you say that you "offer jobs" you mean that you create missions to fly in our simulators?Sorry for the questions but i'm new in the on-line flying simulator clubs.Best regardsjoao

Hi Everyone>Glad to be here. I have been bush flying for over a year now and like it more by the day.I live here in Panama and there is a lot of bush flying here in real life. Flying to the Colombian border is mainly jungle and mountains. There are only 3 airports in the whole area so landings on rivers and lakes is common.Since I like this so much I have been making "adventures" in the jungle here and all over the world. My adventures consist of an "objects" bgl file and a flight plan. I send these out to whoever wants one and we fly the adventures on line. Presently I have made "Lost Cities of the Panama Jungle", Mercy Flight in Guatemala and Honduras, Flying in dangerous Alaska and right now we are flying "The misteryous Lakes of Nepal". I run my server on weekends and you can use TS. I Fly the DH2/DH3/Turbo DH3/DH82 and other good bush planes. If anyone would like to fly with me just let me know and I will gladly send you the current object file and flight plan.Pilota
