I've been a little busy this days, although I'm continuing doing Chicago, I think the major progress will be after middle-May. :(

Hi Alexandre:Keep up the excellent work ! :( I saw the recent Aerosoft release of a "Chicago" scenery, and it was an astonishing disappointment; the screenies and PR pages IMHO did not adequately forewarn that (IIUC) it may have been intended as a "performance" oriented scenery without any reasonably detailed textures on building.http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/ibosh...i?showd,,D11183Apparently, IMHO, Aerosoft's "US Cities X - Chicago (FSX only)" may be better suited for flyers observing Mayor Daley's "No Fly Zone" distance and altitude, and not for guys like me who have dreamed (since FS for DOS) of flying close up along the Chicago River from Navy Pier past Sears (now "Willis") Tower in an Ultralight aircraft.http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/07/16/sears.tower.renamed/OK, it was nice to see a Navy Pier in FS finally; but overall the above Aerosoft "Chicago" package did not provide the detail I personally would want to see. :( So, I believe you will ultimately have a superb product with little or no competition for "low & slow" flying ...when you are ready. :( Regards,GaryGB

Thanks! :( Actually, I haven't even though of that, there's still many buildings to be made before that...but don't worry, I'll get a way :(

Be ready for in some time to appear some new shots... :( Until then, I made this small video of some buildings of this area. You may notice that sometimes it will seem buildings are black but that's because if I selected to appear shadows and real effects, it'd take hours to render the video, that way it's just to "show" and ready :( Chicago overview

I'm not counting now the number of buildings, but yes by areas/neighborhoods, however I think there should have more than ~250...

Hi guys, sorry I haven't said anything around here lately, I've had some problems with the prog and stopped a bit to learn more about 3D techniques, specially rendering :( I think when I'll be able to fix that problem, I can do the rest of the city in 2~3 weeks, but then there's the phase of applying textures and exporting to FS, it may take longer...eheh
