Hi all!I am learning a lot of things with the RFP B742 but I have a problem. For example when I am with the checklists and I go to the desktop to get the EPR values some instruments of the bird reset himself (packs, radios, etc.). Same problem when I press ALT key (for example) to bring up the VATSIM Window...Help! O. S. Windows Vista x32

Hi Nokem. Could you supply a little more information, please. You are using FS9, correct? You are not using a merged aircraft, correct?Does the reset occur when you just move from one window to another or does it occur only after the use of the ALT key?Does it occur with any other aircraft?Let's see where that takes us.

Hi greneg, thanks for your help.Yes, I am using FS9.1, and I am not mergeing any aircraft. The reset occurs when I push the ALT key to show IVAO Windows for example, or to show FS Recorder Window, etc... It occurs also when I press ALT + ENTER to minimize the Flight Simulator Window and show the desktop to bring up the RFP Takeoff Calculator, or the fraps...The RFP Boeing 747-200 is the only aircraft that gives me that problem.

Sorry for the delay but I had problems with the computer (with Windows ). I must format and reinstall, so I will try that greeneg. This is an amazing addon, and I have been thinking run the Flight Simulator in windows mode... perhaps then I will not have this problem...Next week I will give you more information, but if anybody have an idea I am all ears...

Nokeem, make certain that FSUIPC is the most current version and that it is installed properly. Also, check your default flight's aircraft configuration. FS will pick up the default aircraft's configuration and load that and it may be that it is doing that after a short period of time rather than as quick as you might think. RFP requires FSUIPC to function properly as does FS 9.1. When you re-installed FS, it may have substituted an earlier version of FSUIPC.
Does not work, I am about to leave as impossible, am I the only one this happens?

Hi greeneg!Yes, FSUIPC is the last version and properly installed (I have formated and installed W7 since the first post) with the same results. If I am the only who occurs this problem I think that it may be a compatibility problem with the antivirus or another software, and RFP B742 is the only aircraft with tis problem. I start the FS from Cold&Dark, and in the pics case if I arm again the pump and I press [ALT] + [ENTER] in a few seconds the switch returns to its initial position.Thank you very much all you for your help but finally I surrender with this problem.Regards

HI nokem,I'm a newbie to RFP too and get the same problem (windows 7 too) I'm obviously no expert and will stand corrected by the far more knowledgeable on here but...As far as I can see you can get everything set up through the utilities BEFORE you launch FS. Make a note of all the values adn then enter them without having to pause/minimise the sim.Maybe i'm wrong, if so I apologise but it may solve your problemRegardsTranig
