Teaching Granny to suck eggs time. :( Is the software pointed at FSX in the titles tab. I've noticed that it sometimes takes a couple of goes before it remembers. Er...what else? :( TIR isn't plugged into a hub is it?Are you getting all the requisite light on? Blue/green etc.Is it working with the FSX profile selected, but not in the game?Damned if I can think of anything else. Mine stops working sometimes for no reason I can see. I remove the USB, replace it and it's good to go.

I get similar issues to Ron. Nothing major it just doesn't connect sometimes. I just remove the USB from the hub and plug back in and TrackIR picks up. Also, have you got it paused ?

Does it show that it's connected to FSX in the TIR startup screen?Have you downloaded and installed the latest FSX drivers for TIR?Uninstall and reinstall the TIR drivers.Be sure there is no extraneous light interfering with the sensors.let us know

how do I check to see if its connected? One of the LED lights (on the side) isn't lighting up for some reason, yet my Track IR works fine in the utility.

It shouldn't light up until FSX is running. In the full page UI where you see device, you should see beside Profile : Flight and Title : Flight Simulator XIf you do not have FSX then go to the Titles tab in Advanced Settings and select "Flight Simulator X"

There are no FSX options under Profiles.

Did you rename the simconnect.manifest files for EZCA maybe? There was some guy who stopped using EZCA and forgot about those renamed files which seem to manage the connection to FSX.Another one would be a faulty Simconnect installation, you could try a repair then.Just reinstall the FSX SDK or look here

There is a simconnect.msi installation file located in the SDK installation folder\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\lib.
to find a small client. If you run this setup, Simconnect should work.

What about this, you must start FSX with VC cockpit, not 2D panel, to get TrackIR to work. (Just a shot....)
