Asian Scenery but Where in the Web are they?

Recommended Posts

Some Asian scenery is placed on sites that are almost secret no one knows about them. I tried to get Phuket scenery but you have to be registered.....I want to get the Ku Ching scenery but I don't know where it is?There is a marvelous scenery for Kota Kinabalu on Avsim. Has anyone managed to get it working as there is a lamp post that runs through my runway.Hong Kong is self explanatory.Maybe any of you who have Asian scenery installed can post some scenery links and whether it is good or not? Tips anyone?

Here are two of my favourite Asian scenery designers:1. Martin Strong (Shaka) - http://www.martinstrong.com/FS_Project_scenery2004.htm I find his sceneries to be especially unique, for there are places I (and I believe most flight simmers) have even bothered to reach. His designing skills are simply amazing, couldn't ask for anything better in his class!2. Budi Santoso and the team at Indoflyer - http://www.iscenery.net/In my opinion, he's the Gary Summons of Indonesia. The detail touched into Indonesia's three out of 7 main gateways are simply spectacular. In comparison with most of the other Indonesian sceneries I've used for FSX, this one works in FSX very well, although night textures may make them look "transparent"I hope these add to your Asian flights! Dave.

Uh, Gus, I think this is the scenery he was refering to this scenery. My mistake. And au contrair, this one is for FS9, yet works in FSX as well, although still without the new terminal. Although I did once downloaded the T3 scenery by adhuh of Indoflyer, the lack of an updated AFCAD for it prevents the scenery from working. Topic aside, I'm taking science tests tomorrow so I can't really stay in the forums for too long. I need to study to earn myself an excellent grade which will really help for the scores of the Indonesian National Exam. Dave.

I have an FSX Kuching that I did, including the extended runway, but I only used default buildings put together for the new terminal. Meanwhile, I have trying to learn some Google Sketchup to do a better terminal. But I found trying to just jump in on Kuching was a bit big step so I have been working on some other airports with simpler terminals to learn, but it has been a bit of a slog.Meanwhile, the scenery is actually all the airports in Sarawak state but it is for FSX and includes quite a bit of terrain and it's pretty hard to go back and redo that all for FS9. I still have an area where I need to finish the roads. Then I was thinking if I could get the terminal at Kuching OK give a try to model Sibu terminal and maybe a couple others, so the project seems to keep growing :( wbggterm.jpgscott s..

If someone can tell me about the Malaysian Simmers scenery available for download (need a registration) OR we could try the old fashioned way. With help from scenery designers we could make a Ku-Ching photoreal scenery. In fact the scenery around Ku-Ching is quite spectacular, like Kota Kinabalu.Daniel
