What aircraft have you flown on in real life?

Nice lists. I've flown 152s and Diamond DA-20-C1s. I've only flown on 727s, 737s, MD-80s, and I think a DC-10 or L1011 (I was a kid and I remember being excited about going on my first "big plane" but I don't remember the type).

I have to look back at my records to compile a list. Will do when I can. But first, I have a very pressing question:Ryan, YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ON A DC-9 OR MD80!!?? If this is true it is eternally surprising. Very nice topic btw.

Correct. Any time I've flown on an airline that has them I've always gotten A320s or 757s instead.

Aww. You've missed out my friend. The view of the flaps and the engine sounds is unparalleled. I love the flaps. They are so unique.

This is the list as far as I can remember. I did most of my air traveling back when I thought all airliners were the same. For you enjoyment Ryan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0OJgzYc9iAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyFzeJ56iyYThe first one shows the fabulous flaps and the second one shows some beautiful scenery+fabulous flaps. :Big Grin:Watch them! Thats an order! No backtalk! Come on, pick up you feet. Let's move!EDIT: I'll add that one thing that always amazes me about the md80 is the wicked flap angles. It is like putting down flaps 50 in the md11. They come down like a wall. You almost always hear a lot of power during the approach with the md80.

I love the Barn Door Flaps, don't have to worry about slowing down you go to Flaps 40 and you can just feel the nose push over as they come out. Landing on 19L/R I see in SFO.
