xactengine3_4.dll crash

Hi,Not sure what this is,twice tonight have had this xactengine3_4.dll crash.am asking here as fs2crew was last program installed,that is with ifly button control version.winxp 32 sp3fs2 v1.4.Thanks Richard.

XACT is associated with the audio engine used by FS2Crew.Sounds like a system file has become corrupt.Please re-install FS2Crew.Best,

Hi,Re downloaded and re-installed, still same problem,dont know if this is related but had switch sound problem ie no sound,google it and found reducing hardwear acceleration fixed it so turned it of and have done two hours flying with no issue!! i am no expert with pc so could that be the issue?. otherwise enjoying your great program.thanks Richard

Hi Richard,Usually problems with Microsoft's XACT audio system are associated with the user running software that strips DRM rights from 3rd party music.But if reducing hardware acceleration worked for you, and it works now, then all is good :( Cheers,

Hi Bryan,HW Acc back to basic setting,3 further flights and no problems. so hope its sorted its self.Thanks Richard. :(
