Brake Temp Spikes to 10 in Cruise

Recommended Posts

Hello all.I was on my second attempt at a delivery flight today and I had the same failure 2 flights in a row around the same point in my flight plan. I was level @ FL410 for about 45 minutes. I noticed my brake temps started to climb slowly in the beginning from 1 to 5 then suddenly spike to 10 with wheel well fire warning all in about 30 seconds. I hit some turbulence with EZDok when it happened. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or if it was just a coincidence. I didn't use any brakes during my taxi and the temps were at 0 after takeoff and until this happened. RTO was switched off shortly after takeoff. I have CH Pro Pedals. Brake message in bottom left corner never appeared in flight so I don't believe its a hardware issue. Am I missing something in the manual? I searched for about an hour. Is there any way to clear this fault in the CDU in flight so I can land and stop? Still looking forward to that and I got it on Thursday. Cry.gif Thanks for any help. Addons in use are EZDok, REX, ASX

I did my first landing today with this "failure" active and the braking action was great. I'm used to the 747 so I was shocked at the short distance. My first in a 737. I tried it on a divert to a 13000 foot runway expecting no brakes. I bet I could've stopped on a 4000 ft runway. I then taxied in "abusing" the brakes to see if they were faded out and they never lost their effectiveness. So to me it seems like an indication problem. I submitted a ticket. Darrol, your problems sounds the same. Did you try to land like that? Anyone else notice their temp sensors acting up? This is all with service based failures turned on. Never want to fly without that.
