Alright lemme start this one too.How about compatibility of:1) UTX sceneries2) FSX Mesh (FSGenesis, FSGlobal2010...)3) GEX4) FSDT sceneries I recon those standard sceneries like FlyTampa, Aerosoft etc are working without a problem.

Orbx scenery, airports and aircraft released for FSX cannot be used for Prepar3D as our EULA prohibits this and many of our supporting files and apps require recoding for P3D and won't work properly outside the FSX folder structure. We will be releasing demo areas for P3D through the next month, then progressively our FSX addons will be recompiled for P3D and made available on the followng basis:A. Full commercial license with provision for on-selling to customers or for-profit useB. Academic/developer license for personal education/development use onlyC. A cross-grade licensee fee (under $9) to convert your FSX license to a P3D Academic/Developer licenseUntil such license options are in place Orbx does not condone any attempts to use, port, tweak or share information on the use of our FSX addons within P3D. In the meantime we have a free PNW Demo available with KHQM Bowerman Airport included should you wish to determine relative performance of Orbx addons under P3D.I hope this clarifies our position :)

Cheers,

John Venema

Good to know John. The solution is looking very good, although not for me: unfortunately ORBX doesn't cover any regions I fly in.

Anyone tried Photoscenery with Prepar3D like for example the UK photo scenery? Just wondered if for example if the game engine can keep up with the tiles better at a higher speed than FSX can so less blurries etc. Thanks for any replies.Craig

Craig, yes it does. Bit of a ball ache pointing P3D to all the relevant Vol Areas+sub areas. 36 actions all told just for Vol 1,2 & 3. That is assuming you have P3D & FSX installed on the same PC. Couldn't be bothered with Vol 4,5 9 & 10 as none of them are worth the effort.

Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Well now that FSDT are onboard with Prepar3d it wont be long before all their sceneries work without problem. Lax is first and then the rest will follow soon unless they find problems with the Lax Installer etc.
