What happened to my -900?

Recommended Posts

Hi,I tried to fly the 737-900 today, but all I saw was this:I'm sorry, its a bit dark, but I hope you see theres no VC anymore. When I move upwards (in the virtual cockpit) I can see the textures of the real VC, but I can't push any knob. This occurs only with the -900 (with and without winglets), the -800 works fine. I noticed that after installing SP1. Before SP1, the -900 worked fine.RegardsNiclas

Hi,after the installation of SP1b, there is still no VC on the 900.I think that is not good.Just tried the high qualitiy textures, they don't work too.

My VC is OK.It (the -900) defaults to the -800 panel ... do you have the -800 VC?

After SP1b I have the same issue, but I've noticed that only happens with low-res VC. With Hi-res VC it's all OK and only with the 900 variant. Daniel Rosell

I have had this same problem. Today I uninstalled all varients of the ngx. Then deleted all PMDG folders in FSX. Reinstalled 800/900, 800/900 sp1b, 600/700, 600/700 sp1b. The -900 is now working perfect.Dave

If you're still seeing this do a complete clean install - it definitely was fixed:1. Uninstall the 600/700, then the 800/900 from Control PanelPrograms & Features.2. Manually delete the NGX folders in FSXSimObjectsAirplanes.3. Manually delete the FSXPMDGPMDG 737 NGX folder.4. Manually delete the NGX folders in C:Users(Your Windows Username)AppDataRoamingMicrosoftFSXSimObjects5. Reinstall the 800/900 base pack.6. Reinstall the 600/700 addon.7. Install the 800/900 SP1b update.8. Install the 600/700 SP1b update.

Same for me, it didn't work. I had to reinstall SP1b after 800/900 because my base back is pre SP1.Daniel Rosell.

Hi,Some more details :This what happens with the VC 900 (the VC 800 works fine) when Performance Manager is on LOW (on HIGH the VC 800 and 900 are fine) :After a few tests done, I think (may be I'm wrong) that there is a problem with the PMDG_737_900(WL)_VC_LOW.MDL files.May be they are corrupted or other things. PMDG alone can answer to this question. Please ?Thanks,Regards,Richard Portier
