Hi everyone, does anyone know of a possibility of disabling or at least quieting the proximity tone ofthe radio altimeter, which occurs shorty before touchdown?I planning on retro-fitting the RFP panel with altitude callouts and would like to disablethe two-tone proximity alert,to stop it from interferring with the callouts for 30,20,10.feet.Does anyone know whether the sound is hardcoded into any gauge or whether it isa soundfile which can be replaced or at least set to volume 0.Thank you very much for your help.Merry Christmas,Oliver

yes, in the panel forum someone found a solution to replace the wav's, so you can insert a silent one.http://forum.avsim.net/topic/331236-pss-gpws-and-other-sounds/Works the same with RFP
