The announcement of the DC-6 has left me confused. I think it would be after the 777. Though, if these guys can develop more than the NGX at one time, I think it would be around the time of release of the 777.
Hi all,I know PMDG's policy about release dates but do we have any indication/clue when this new 744 fits in into their general release programme? After the 777 or the dash 8?Thanks,Christos

I would be very much interested in a new 747 X with high quality virtual cabin views. Since this is a long haul A/C, it would be nice to move about the passenger areas to pass the time, rather than always staring at the cockpit (2d and 3d). It would also be nice if the virtual cabin had a screen display showing the A/C position on the map or allow this area made for other addons that can produce this display.

Wilbert,"Feelthere" has a MAP programme that allows you to install the sort of screen you see as a passenger on a long haul flight. Moving map, OAT, Speed, time to destination etc all the things that make the time pass slower or faster on those long hauls. PC Aviator was offering the download of MAP for only $AUD7 so I took it. Trouble is after installing I cannot see it on the Instrument drop down list - it should appear as "Extended info" under the "VIew - Instrument" option. Installed it for the 744X as well and the LDS 767 but no luck so far.It should be a great little add on for those long flights as you say - perhaps someone else can get it to work? At least we could feel like passengers before we head up the front for the descent.Gerry
