That first shot Alain, that looks for all the world like the baytower RV7 over FSX :Nerd:Although I am leaning towards this version.

Except the beach area... FSX never looks that good even with PNW...

Roads were one of the first things i checked. In fsx i stick to photoscenery and utx to avoid this problem. In flight - not overly impressed by the cities, rural and airports work well for me so far, particularly down low.Would love some areas of photoscenery with hand placed autogen - is there any or is it all tile based?

The waves are not static. Only the surf on the shoreline is static.Land you Icon on the water, or do a low pass. Edited by Arwen

I know they're static... but take your pick... static realistic looking waves or cheesy dynamic waves lol... The water looks better in Flight overall... especially when you're low.

I am with you Ryan....I choose Static. Truth is when you are flying you are not really supposed to look that closely at it, it is something that appears in your peripheral vision. The new waves look better to me as well.Cheers

I think its a compromise. The reasons they decided to use such obviously dated FSX type stuff hints at attempted backwards compatibility. The question of why they wanted it backwards compatible (at least to an extent) is the real million dollar question.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

The water looks to me like one of the gell things I have in the freezer for sore necks that perhaps started leaking! :-)Vegatation reminds me of Northern Calif more than the islands...disclaimer-I've been to Maui 4 times and Oahu once...
