The Digital Theme Park has an established presence in the flight simulation and gaming communities and is known for its reliability and expansive features. AVSIM is very proud to be opening this relationship and expanding the services provided to our readers and community members. AVSIM will be using the DTP / AVSIM system to provide community meetings, Q&A's, interviews, town hall gatherings, multiplayer / multiflyer voice connections, and more. We look forward to announcing further details and a calendar of events shortly. You can connect with the DTP/Avsim TS3 server at avsim.digitalthemepark.com or at ts3.digitalthemepark.com using the TeamSpeak 3 client. This is great news! The preliminary "Home Base" at the Digital Theme Park is currently Bowerman KHQM - free from OrbX FreeWare site - http://www.fullterra...m/freeware.html .You will also need a headset and mic, and lastly download the TeamSpeak3 client from http://www.teamspeak...?page=downloads, put in the Avsim.digitalthemepark.com address, and you'll be flying in double-quick time!Check this out - if you've always wanted to fly online with some buddies, but always held back because you heard it was too full of restrictions, ATC controllers and rules... there's none of that. Call signs? "Er...Yankee, Charley, er whatever, traffic. Er...This is Experimental, Romeo, Whisky, Alpha on er...final for that runway down there. What is it 34? Oh, OK. Runway 16"Close enough for jazz.
Even if a person doesnt know all the right call signs and lingo asscoiated with real flight, we are still welcome to try to join in?
