This is for the Button version. Starting the NGX in a "long" state and ground power unto before push back, then using APU for start.

Also using GSX.

You must know how to set up and use the CDU.

Just two questions.

 

You set trim before receiving load sheet but the stab trim should be taken from it so maybe it should be done after receiving it?

 

In case that only fuel in wing tanks is required and not in central tank, when should be done the refuelling? Because during preflight preparation and starting APU the FO sets central pump on and maybe after selecting fuel required it is not necessary. How to avoid that he selects pump from central tank or when should refuelling be simulate to avoid it?

Yes it should your right, but since we don't get a real load sheet and as a matter of fact this part of the flow..

Should all be done after the load sheet, but since there is nothing to do from 17 min's apart from wait for the FO I moved this up as within the sim we don't get a real load sheet. It would be nice but...

So if you wish move all this to after you have taken the load sheet.

 

About the fuel,

Loading the right fuel/PAX load is the first thing I do in the CDU, every thing I have read and seen shows you turn on the middle left fuel to start APU, even FS2Crew 1.1 changed to do this, so as far as I can tell that's the correct way.

Thanks for all the explanations. I observed yesterday that if selecting fuel from the beginning only for wing tanks and empty central, the central fuel pump won't be activated.

 

You mean that for starting APU is used the middle or the forward left pump?
