Reality XP has released GNS V1.6.

Recommended Posts

A new parameter in the ini file, LinkGPS=On will cause the GNS unit to "overwrite" the FSX flightplan so that other units in the panel will display the information.

As an example, many glass panel gauges, like the G500 in the Carenado Malibu will show the GNS flightplan, including next waypoint name etc..

If you got a pre-release copy earlier, RXP advises to download the official release version, since several small changes were made before release.

Where do you get this update - link?

Thanks

Installing this again, does it overwrite the navdata updates that I've done manually?

...I am curious about this also?

Bert,

thank you for the heads up. I have just installed the update. It seems that the LinkGPS switch is not documented. How can it be set using the GNS WAAS FSX Config utility?

This is one fine enhancement for the RXP gauges. Glad to see it's final and available for all now. Thanks for the HU, Bert.

Right you are, the final dll was even newer. So updating makes perfect sense indeed.

I couldn't see that parameter in the tool so far. So it seems like you have to set it manually in the RXP.ini.

Been using it for about a week now, but will get the "proper" update now it's gone final.

I can confirm, also, that it still won't load in P3d (CTD), but that the added feature of linking flight-plans is a must-have for FSX..Using it in the new Carenado P46T and it;s great
