Nice idea -- Nice looking Inteface, BUT -- It completeley DELETED(moved ?) my all my files in my application/fsx directory !!!

I assume they have been copied elsewhere ??

I strongly suggest that you include in the documention some description of what the program is actually doing, and where it is moveing/renaming files.

Currently, it says it cannot locate my FSX directories, and there is no way to edit back in the correct directory paths. (I assume it is trying to get these paths form the registry ?).

I know that my resistry values are Correct, but it is saying it cannot find the paths !!

Fortunatly, I had backed up on Sunday, so was able to recover.. others may not be so lucky !

Thanks for making the program... and I hope my feedback helps to make it somewhat more stable and reliable.

This program does first FSXRootdir(this is your fsx rootdir) name change to FSXrootdir.hsorg and then make a link FSXRootdir to Prepar3DRootdir. You don't manually changes here.

After a FSX addon-setup done you must again starting FSXtoP3D and clicking on buton "FSX Addons-setup Disable", then the program converts all the changes back to orginals.

P.S:You can search for your FSXRootdir named FSXRootdir.hsorg in original location.

Can you post here when you find your FSX directory?

Currenty, my registy seems to have been set by your program to:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0]
"FIRSTRUN"=dword:00000001
"AppPath"="H:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Games\\Microsoft Flight Simulator X.hsorg\\"
"MicrosoftAppDataComponent"=dword:00000001
"FsxCfgExtraCache"=dword:00000001
"FsxStandardXmlExtraCache"=dword:00000001

and my FSX Root directory has been modified to

H:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X.hsorg

=========

For the time being, I am just going to manually correct this back to the originals

1- if you want to uninstall any FSX Addon from P3D then you must change the status of FSXtoP3D to Enabled.

2- If the FSX Addon constantly needs real FSX folders to work then you must change the status of FSXtoP3D to Enabled during the usage of that Addon.

3- I Have PMDG is installed on Prepar3D with this program with no problems.

4- Even if you do not have FSX you can still install any FSX-Addon to Prepar3D, in this case leave the status always on Enabled.
