WX500 Retrofit in Piper Malibu?

I was just wondering if anyone has the WX500 and if so does it fit in the place of the default Bendix King one in the VC of this plane?

I would love to see a solution like the one on the pmdg JS41.

Maybe someone with enough knowledge can chime in....

it is possible, but you should use the noframe=on parameter in the WX500.ini (that is what the JS41 is also using if I can recall) otherwise you will see an ugly grey overlay on the WX500 screen in the VC. Try to start with the exact entries like the Carenado radar is using and then strech it, otherwise the display will look a bit too small.

 

I tried it myself before but it is a kind of workarround as you will not see any knobs in the 2D-popup. Also the buttons and knobs in the vc will never match.

If you can live with that grey overlay in the VC you can just use the lines for the carenado radar and leave that noframe option out and it should be allright.
