New 747-8 repaints

Recommended Posts

Glad you're enjoying the repaints David!

Also, a little bit more news on the repaint front....

Today I have uploaded two more Lufthansa 747-8i repaints.

The 1st one is Rheinland -Pfalz (D-ABYK). This replaces my previous repaint which didn't have the name.

And... D-ABYL which is actually set for real-world delivery in the next day or so, so she is also available.

And I am hoping to release the new Silkway Airlines 747-8F repaint very shortly. I think this one will look particularly good.

Stay tuned! B)

while i don't have the 747, your repaints(along with a select few other painters) are becoming most of what i fly nowadays.

any chance of the AV Cargo paint on the PMDG 777?

i fly the MD-11 in your AV scheme regularly, but sometimes i wanna keep the paint but switch to something a tad bigger...

apologies for the hijack

Hello Kyle, If I have some time I will try the AV Cargo but I need to finish a few more things off first...

Speaking of which, D-ABYL v2 has been uploaded to the library today with the aircraft name "Hessen" added to the fuselage. It also features some improved textures for the engines.

Also on finals are more 'Lufthansa 747-8i's and N770BA! B)

Stay tuned!

:hi:Well folks,

Some interesting news to report....

Lufthansa has announced they will paint some of their aircraft in a new World Cup 2014 livery. :yahoo:

Some shots of the recently delivered Boeing 747-8i (D-ABYO) were just released today, so I took the liberty to bring you the latest repaint of the Intercontinental.

Apparently the real aircraft should enter service in the friendly skies some time next week.

Just uploaded to Avsim about 10mins ago! Should hopefully be available later today.

For anyone looking for this particular repaint, more info can be found here in this thread:-

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/286083-forthcoming-repaints/page-18 See post#448.

Hi Folks,

Another Lufthansa repaint... this one is of D-ABVP the latest 747-8 to enter service. This particular aircraft is wearing rw commemorative stickers as it represents the 1500th 747 off the Boeing production line. Currently flying today. No official name for the aircraft yet!

Repaint uploaded to the library this morning.

Also on related news, Lufthansa will be receiving their next -8, D-ABPQ very shortly.
