Reality XP GNS430W/530W

Recommended Posts

Who's using RXP for XP10? Do the 530W/430W gauges work in x64? What about x86? Can you update the database with the worldwide.bin like in FSX?

Are there any planes with native "3d VC" integration like in FSX?

Ryan-so far best of my knowledge the answer is no to all-the database maybe but I haven't tried. I hope there will be a 64 update-this add in is crucial for me.

Rats! Argh... another strike against XP10 for me :( I bet JL won't do a 64bit XP update. As far as I'm concerned RXP platform is dying. Hardly any dev-in-forum with user interaction these days. Lots of 3rd party devs cannot reach them (A2A comes to mind when trying to 3d integrate their Civvie mustang with the 430W). Very difficult to get a database update (usually from a worldwide.bin file - questioning the legality of that *sigh*)

So far I'll be sticking to night flight in XP10 and doing /A IFR flights.

I only spent $20 on the regional so I'm still a little happy with what I got for that much.

Maybe not the answer you're looking for Ryan, its a 2D panel for a start and not 64bit yet, but this may be of interest to you...

I have flythissim's DA40 G1000 (i may have spoken to you about this in another post on FSX forum? i'm not sure) great support from this developer, and fantastic system depth. Still waiting for the 64 bit version but no doubt it will come at some point.

I'm currently designing a simpit using this software. In my opinion its one of those untapped secrets in flight simulation. The simavio software really is superb for home cockpit builders.

Cheers
