TDS B737NG-series Preview

Recommended Posts

I've been hard at work on the base textures/paint kit for the B737-700 coming from us at TDS. Aside from a few details that need modification, it is almost ready. To be released as freeware in the coming weeks.

Yes, we will be doing the entire -700 thru -900ER line including BBJ/2/3 options, all antenna options, PIP models, eyebrows/no-eyebrows, winglets/non-winglets, you name it.

No, there will not be a VC included, but you are more than welcome to make one that we can potentially add to the model at a later date.

No, there is no release date. Model is done, just waiting on me for textures, which there's not a lot left to fix/modify. Enjoy this preview, and hopefully this is the correct forum to be posting this in.

Freeware.

There will be FSX-native models done as well, but since FS2004 is getting less and less love, I'm posting it here. Enjoy!

Nice.

Will you guys be considering modelling any military variants, such as the Wedgetail or P8 Posiedon?

FS9 is very much in need of some TLC, everybody seems to enjoy bashing it at the moment, for some reason.

Superb looking base model :clapping:  take your time with those textures, we can wait!

And: many thanks for posting this!

Sad to hear FS9 is on the wane, but could Avsim have a general poll to see exactly who comes out tops?

Been done here on Avsim a few times, each of which FS9 keeps losing traction.

Here's one poll.

You know, that poll shows 15 - count them - 15 votes for helicopter flyers.

This means that nobody should bother with helicopters in flight simulation?

I am deeply irritated when polls are taken to mean you are somehow *OK* if in one or other "majority" category.

You are a flightsimmer, hence already in a tiny minority segment of a tiny minority segment.

Live and let live, please...

THANK YOU TDS FOR PRODUCING A WONDERFUL FS2004 MODEL

I believe both are modeled.

Thanks guys!

Thanks a lot, looks amazing. I remember flying the Posky 738, I loved the model. Sorry if I'm nitpicking, but what will change between the Posky and TDS models?

Looks good! You guys at TDS/SkySpirit should re make the POSKY CRJ-200.

Thanks Kyle, it looks great.

If this is anything like the new TDS Boeing 787, then it will be well received.

I'm eagerly but patiently waiting for it's eventual release.

Pete.

The TDS is a full remake from scratch. No relation with the model to Posky.

Thanks Kyle.

People who love this hobby enough to do great and free work deserve all the gratitude and admiration that can possibly be bestowed upon them.
