Master caution light

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm in the middle of my second flight with this beauty and noticed that the yellow master caution light is illuminated.

I'm not able to reset it by clicking it and there is no FMC message to tell me what's wrong.

Any ideas?

Thank you. :)

Any amber messages present on the upper EICAS display?

This is where you should look to see what is wrong when the master caution light illuminates.

Same here. Whilst on the ramp. Loaded C&d. Powered up the ac on jetway dual plugs. Started apu. Pushed back. Started engines (during one of the starts eng 1 maybe) heard the warble tone. Caution light illuminated.  Unable to clear annuciator and nothing immediately obvious amiss on overhead or synoptics. She still flew like a dream though lol Only had time for one flight last night so I'll raise a ticket if it happens again..

Tcas off (expected) and nothing on recall

Same problem here, using the short state and following all normal procedures I have a Master Caution that will not extinguish with no errors present on recall or in the FMC.

Other than that this has been the best thing I have ever used in a flight simulator - it even beats a few FTD's I have flown in for realism and feel.

Just performed a sector from gatwick to Doha with cold and dark start and auto cruise mode (love it!) and same problem here, caution light illuminated at cruise but no info on eicas and remained lit for remainder of flight.

A fix is in the works for SP1. One of the betas suggested performing a manual cold and dark shutdown and saving that flight to use until its patched. Otherwise, start your flights with the long or short turnaround panel states.

yeh same problem here.  Following C&d procedure and shortly after engine start master caution, no indication of what the problem is.

I have the same issue.  Is this a real bug or are we missing something?  What are the thoughts?  Seems kind of major to be a bug and it NEVER show up until now.
