PMDG Ops Center

Recommended Posts

Hi there guys,

I have this ery perculiar problem, about 2 weeks ago i downloaded a shader program, it didnt wanted to work and everytime i open FSX i get the FSX opening logo screen and then nothing it goes away. To solve the problem i uninstalled the shader program because that seemed to be the problem, but i still had issues i then googled for a solution, that was to delete my temp folder.

After that everytime when i click on my PMDG Ops Center it starts runs something and then a screen pops up that it has encountered a problem and is shutting down.

Now i have both 777 and NGX as purchased programs NOT pirated!!!

I can however fly the 777 and NGX within FSX fine no problem but cant open the Ops Center.

Anyone else with a similar issue or knows how to quick fix, if not then i will submit a ticket, dont want to bug the guys at PMDG if i can quickly have it sorted here.

Thanks!!!

I am slightly PC dyslexic, and i am not making fun of those that are but could you tell me where i can see this eventviewer, then maybe i can see what is the cause.

Thanks a million!

Maybe try what's suggested first, but I usually go into event viewer to see what's up as well just for interest.  It just gives you a point where you can do some further googling.

Event viewer can be access via run > eventvwr > OK

The OC is *completely* separate from any addon you installed. It doesn't even sit in the FSX folder actually. It also does not use the temp folder so I have no idea what you did, but it's not either of those things.

Try doing this:

1. Delete the entire contents of C:\Users\<Your User Name>\AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG Operations Center

2. Delete everything in C:\Program Files (x86)\PMDG Operations Center *except for* the PMDG Operations Center.exe and OpsCenterUpdater.exe.

3. Run the OpsCenterUpdater file - it'll download and replace all the deleted files with replacements and should fix any corruption you're seeing.

Look at Ryan's post - he showed the file paths to follow. If it is not there at all, you may need to re-install the 777 entirely.
