Recommended Posts

Have been searching for an answer in the forums but with no results.

How do I do to get on vatsim with p3dv2?

Do I have to use the Estonia Migration tool or can I do it in another way?

Very thankfull for an answer

I install FSINN with Estonia Migration tool and everything works perfectly. I fly today in VATSIM with AEX without any problem. I start prepare3d in window mode with default plane -> change to full screen and load AEX...

Here's how I got it to work (using FSINN), thanks to a fellow VA member:

- Turn on Estonia Migration Tool, enable Virtual FSX

- Reinstall FSCopilot and then FSInn (Just reinstall over current location)

If you're using IVAO Models

- Copy the IVAO_MTL folder into your P3D\SimObjects folder.

- You need to add the IVAO folder to the Prepar3D.cfg file, specifically need to add:

SimObjectPaths.9=SimObjects\IVAO_MTL

- Navigate to your FSINN folder (\Program Files (x86)\FSFDT\FSCopilot\FSInn) <- or wherever you installed it. Open FSInnNet1.ini file in notepad. Change the SIStatusurl to: SIStatusurl=http://status.vatsim.net/status.txt

- Launch P3D in Legacy Mode

- Start up at an airport somewhere. Launch FSInn as normal. Be sure to go through and enter your VATSIM PID/Password, chose your server and verify your settings (most, if not all settings should have remained the same, except user info and name).

That's it.

This won't break your FSX FSInn install. Just be sure to turn of the Estonia Virtual FSX.

And have you FPS lower when FSINN window is "active" - for example chat window?

Not sure... I rarely touch the interface.
