I wish people would stop posting such great shots from XP, I find it very unsettling

I get the same feeling from both XP and P3D.  The problem for me is my FSX w/DX10 is pretty darn nice as well.  I just don't have the energy or time to replicate all the work from my FSX to either one of these other sims.

I'll just sit back and enjoy these great screen shots.

LES Saab and SkyMaxPro? Great Shots!!

Yep.

LES Saab

HD Mesh v2

OSM Europe + Autogen

Skymaxx Pro

And that`s all. A big plus for me is that you can simply install the latest version of X-Plane 10.25, put the HD Mesh v2 and OSM in the Custom Scenery folder and you`re good to go. As posted in another topic, I simply got sick of the FSX and P3Dv2 tweaking and balancing stuff, I won`t even mention all those addons you need to install to make it look a bit better (Shade, REX textures, FTX Global and regions). And please don`t get me wrong, all those are great additions to a great sim, but it gets a bit too much in the end. I don`t wanna even think about re-installing everything if something went wrong.

Besides, i do have quite a powerful PC (OC-ed i7 2600k CPU, 8GB of RAM, 2 SSD disks and a 780gtx g/c). I can push XP10 to its limit (extreme settings) and still only get as low as 25 FPS in the most populated areas. Otherwise I get well above 30 frames and it`s smooth as silk.

Those shots look great.  Just got a new system and am looking forward to seeing how xpx performs on that once compared to my old system.  Can't wait to see what is in store for us in xpx.30.
