P3D2 long haul test...sort of... (Caution: Large Images)

Recommended Posts

Since very few transport jets are working in P3D2, it'll be the AAX again, flying as B6 287 BOS-LAX.

Will the sim crash ? Will the jet crash ? Follow along here.

The exact reason I am still with FSX.

Nice VC shots however.

I'd like to hear the results. Using any pay ware with LAX?

David Zambrano, CFII, CPL, IGI

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

Things were going well until my Airbus was sucked into a wormhole and deposited on the moon in Bill's sim:

I guess it was just an example of the famous "blue sky snows" that southern California is so well known for:

..which continued all the way until here, ruining the view of so many pretties on the way into LAX:

..and finally, at the gate...6h 6m off to on:

At least you made it. But I minimize during cruise phases so I can do other things. And the AXE is the only airliner that seems to be working in p3dv2.  :(

What was the VAS on arrival?

No, but only because I personally don't care

I've never had an OOM in FSX or P3D, because I don't run past reasonable limits, don't care about or use 4096 textures, and really don't care about over done add-on scenery.

I might be attempting another longer flight, in either the CS757 or 767 soon, and if I do I will try to remember to check it.

Like I said though, it won't be an issue for me. I expect it will be well under the limit.
