E-Mail Format for Auto-Registration Requests

Recommended Posts

In cases where the registration request e-mail can not be  created from the RC registration dialog box, here is the e-mail format which must be followed exactly substituting your information:

To: register_at_jdtllc.com

From: Ron Ginsberg <ginsxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx>

Subject: RCv4 Key Request

-nnnnnnnnnn  ! Ron  ! Ginsberg

Replace the _at_ above with @. nnnnnnnnn is the product code from the registration dialog box. Include the "-" only if in the product code. 2 spaces after the last product character. 1 space after the "!", then 2 spaces after the first name. "!" then 1 space followed by your last name with no trailing spaces, just the Enter key. If you copy the product code from the RC dialog and paste it into your e-mail, be sure no leading or trailing extra spaces occur as often added by Win pasting. The same caution applies when copying/pasting your received key into the registration dialog.

Be sure you allow jdtllc.com through your pc and ISP spam filters.

Now if this is a reinstall and your user name and/or e-mail has changed from your ordering information registered with your first install, then you will need to have it manually processed. Send an e-mail to jd XX jdtllc.com subject User data update and RCV4 key request. Include your old and new user name and e-mail information along with your product code (including any "-" if present). You also can attach a screenshot of your registration dialog box. If you need to update RCV4 to build 3845 request a download link at this time however you'll need to register on a version update for a new key.

Many non-web based e-mail applications support the MAPI Windows interface format. You might have to enable that. If so RC should generate the e-mail via your e-mail client for you to send.
