How do you make sure you have port 45 open for ASN Next?

Recommended Posts

I have had FSX lock up twice in heavy IFR weather and got this message along with some other info which I am pretty sure I am compliant. But I have no idea about port 45. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

I flew a second flight into the same location same weather using a Carenado C210. It was a short flight with no issues at all. The first flight was about 300nm with the NGX.

Thanks,

Ron

It is port 445 TCP. For network setups.

Check your firewall inbound/outbound rules for that port.

I checked the program and the loader with my firewall. Although I did not find the exact port 445 I did add the installer and loader as trusted. No help.

Thanks,

Ron
