well. i'm sorry you are having such a hard time getting a hold of me. send me an email with the subject line "tight git is unhappy"

 

that way i can find your email address, and then look for all these emails you've sent me, so i can figure out what happened.

Thank you Mr Dekker,

 

I've just sent you copies of the emails you've requested, but I've taken the liberty of making the subject "Tight Git was unhappy" as that reflects my current state of mind!

 

Having now had the chance to try out Radar Contact, I must praise you for both its concept and execution.

 

Definitely a wonderful enhancement to my flight simulator!

 

I'm also impressed by the kindness shown to me by Ray Proudfoot and others on this forum.

looking through all email i've received, in the last 6 months, i have 2 emails from you.

 

one on 8/7 for a key request, and a key was sent on 8/7 to you 

 

 

Success @ 8/7/2014 10:28:12 AM (-592236214) CAFEMDKBLFNOJHNGELMKDDHDGHLNIDFB

 

then on 8/8 you sent me an email saying someone on the forum suggested you contact me, and i responded on the 9th with:

 

Your key is CAFEMDKBLFNOJHNGELMKDDHDGHLNIDFB

 

And a key was sent out earlier

 

Success @ 8/7/2014 10:28:12 AM (-592236214) CAFEMDKBLFNOJHNGELMKDDHDGHLNIDFB

 

and then i get an email from ray saying you are unhappy.

 

from this end, it appears the key generator and i have responded to every email you've sent to me.

 

you might want to check your junk mail folder, that's where a lot of legitimate emails go on hotmail.

Being retired, I have plenty of time on my hands and I check my emails (in-box and junk) several times a day.

 

I can assure you that I did not receive any emails from you, so a bit of a mystery...

 

But lets move on as, thanks to you, I now have a new enhanced flight sim to play with!

(As you know, I'm a duffer with computers, but is it a good idea to publish my product number and key on an open forum?  Just a thought...)

TG, That key will only work with your hardware. If you change it you will require a new key. The product key on its own is harmless.

jd posted the key here a couple of replies up. He also said the key was e-mailed 7 AUG. Do I have the correct user part of this thread?

 

Reply #48 today in this thread he gives you your unique key.

Everything sorted with the key now, thank you.

 

For some mysterious reason, emails from Mr Dekker are not getting through to me, although those from Mr Thompson and Ray Proudfoot appear in my in-box immediately.

 

(Also not in my junk mail, although all those wretched Viagra offers have no problem!)

So register@jdtllc.com nor jd@jdtllc.com got through. Interesting. What e-mail reader are you using? What spam filter for you and your ISP.

I use Windows Live Mail, Norton 360 and I'm with BT (that's British Telecom, the largest ISP in the UK).

 

If you are going to suggest I change any of these, please be advised that (as far as I'm aware) every other email has got through to me in the last 10 years!

There is one service I do not recall that if someone reports an e-mail address as a spammer mail delivery was blocked until the supposed spammer paid a fee to get it straightened out. The veracity of the report was not checked without payment so if somebody was angry with jd for some reason and put him on that list as jd@jdtllc.com his e-mail would not go through.

 

It is a blacklist service offered that some ISPs use.

 

In the past we have had some problem with hotmail users receiving their keys. I believe Win Live uses that same service criteria.

 

When reported other means were used to send the keys as we have done now.

 

Now, I am not suggesting you change services but just bringing up some history.

 

In one case I did a trace of some e-mail paths and found that some services in the UK passed through virgin media routers. They had a temporary problem where some specific full addresses were blocked. It took a long time for them to straighten it out.

 

Anyway, you are good to go for now.
