The other night I took the -700 on a 2592nm jaunt from YBBN-NCRG my second longest NGX run. First was a couple of years ago from KMHT-EGCC.

I had a fairly decent tailwind averaging around 80-90 kts. The flight time worked out to 5:18 I think. The funny thing was ASN kept on dropping out every 15 minutes or so. I couldn't work out why so I just kept on rechecking the force to sim time box. Then at 4:20 into the flight the ASN dialog box came up but this this time it locked the sim up (thank god for FSUIPC Autosave!). So I rebooted FSX with FSGRW instead as I went to check to Zulu date/time to set up I realised I set the date as set 24 hours into the future! no wonder why ASN was upset. Although I'm curious how it worked out the winds.

 

Anyways here's the landing shots in TNCM. Unfortunately I wasn't planning on recording the landing but It turned out to be one of my better ones so I had to rely on the instant reply so please exuse the doors and GSE hanging in the air. I would register fraps but I've already blown my weekly addon budget by $120 so it'll have to wait until wednesday.

Those are some... interesting shots.  I like the one from the CP on approach especially.  But I found it hilarious to see the aircraft chocked up and a power unit flying in the #2 slot on approach.  I know it's a glitch in using the replay mode, but funny nonetheless!  Cheers!
