Everlasting flickering hourglass...a cure.

Recommended Posts

In case you didn't catch my post elsewhere. Here is the definitive way of killing the little sod!

I'm referring to the situation where you are in fullscreen and have a window open i.e. GPS, on a second monitor. Should you go to windowed mode or move the GPS about (resizing etc.) the window will disappear and the hourglass shenanigans start.

Cure:

Open another window, such as radio stack, options or any of the shift+#s, move that across to your second monitor and as if by magic the GPS will reappear! Drag it back to the second monitor and turn off the surplus window. Tada!

I think the problem is that windows loses focus of the extra window and is desperately trying to relocate it.

Hope that helps.

Nice find Ron.  I fly windowed mode myself, but I know you prefer your FSX fullscream.
