All depends.. Next WHQL could be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.. But you should see at least a beta floating around in a few weeks.

GeForce 340.52 Driver WHQL 340.52 Released - July 29, 2014 (non beta)

This was released. And I have the same exact problems. Still.

Any thoughts?

Read up a few posts. Not going to be fixed until another release....

Oh sorry. Feel like a lazy sod. Thought I had read all pages. Apparently I just read two of them... :P

There is a new set of Quadro drivers (340.66whql) that work again with P3Dv2.x which show nVidia has fixed the tessellation bug. You do need to modify the inf to make them install on non workstation cards, something I've done for donkeys years, but if you're uncomfortable doing this then it should not be long before a new Geforce set appears. I'm getting very nice performance with them, but probably no better than the 337 builds... its hard to tell without a proper benchmark.

Yeah, it's usually within a week or most two once new Quadro drivers are made available.

Cheers, Rob.

The OP and some others are not indicating that these are Beta drivers that are causing problems. The latest WHQL are the 337.88 drivers. Anything above that is beta. If and when they issue the next WHQL driver and you see the problem(s), then I will understand your complaints. I wish the OP would have indicated his problems were with the beta drivers. He made it indicate he was having this issue with both beta and official drivers. You really have no reason to complain when you are using beta drivers. Hopefully this will clarify that this is really not a problem (yet) as I loaded the default textures and see absolutely no problems with the latest WHQL drivers. Beta testing will iron out the problems everyone is seeing with the beta drivers.

NVidia rocks!

Best regards,

Officials WHQL Drivers now are 340.52.....

Does Nvidia pay you to defend them? ;)

It is quite normal that somehting breaks with Nvidia drivers when a new release comes out. In fact, it is more a rule of thumb that something is ***** up every time and Prepar3d isn't the only software that has suffered something like this. It is good if they can fix it with the next release, though.

340.66 - 340.69 and 340.72 all work fine with P3Dv2x eliminating the Tessellation bug .. although none are official Geforce drivers. If you need later drivers than the 337 builds then the 340.72 WHQL's are best, but you need to extract the package and remove the GFiCafe folder before installing.

I'm pretty sure there will be new Geforce set this coming week, so best to wait if you're worried about using unofficial drivers.
