Running Fsx On Server And Client Pcs In Windows7

Recommended Posts

Hi time repairs here new to all this but I have a problem with fsx that has so got me down I'm tearing me hair out. In fact the bald patch could be written in as a new landing strip.....

Basically, I would like to shift some bits,is saitek instrument panels, rudder controls to free up the main PC but for the life of me I just can't get simconnect to work. As far as I get is starting up fsx on the server PC,then starting saiflightsimx in the direct output file on the client and nothing. Have checked task manager and that shows direct output in the list of applications running and processes but not saiflightsimx (according to saiteks instructions this should show up in the list. No joy dropped the firewall,no joy,did all the tweeks that are suggested by saitek no joy. Checked the configuration of the simconnect.XML on the server all in line with saiteks guide.

At a loss I'm afraid guys.is there any other way I can get the instruments to work is another program that will do it instead of simconnect.

Server PC specs

Intel 3gig quad CPU with 8 GB ram

500watt power supply

Sata2 320gig HD

Anti radion

6000 series graphics with 2gig on board ram and dual monitor outputs

Windows 7 home edition 64bit

Fsx with all service packs up to date

Two led 20inch led monitors

Saitek throttle and yoke

Rudder peddels

Instrument panels x3

Any help guys would be good

Regards
