Air Force One On A Ga Aircraft?

I was explaining to one of my customers about how Air Force One is not an actual aircraft but the call sign for the airplane the US President is on. I was wondering if any former US Presidents ever flew as a PIC in General Aviation aircraft while in office. The only President I could think of would be George Bush Senior but I think he gave up flying years before.

 

Would be cool to hear a radio transcript of a President doing Circuits on a GA aircraft at a local airport....but not sure if it has ever happened.

 

President: Tower this is Air Force One type Cessna for touch and go...

 

Tower: You are cleared for Touch and Go Mr President.

 

I think that would be very cool.  B)

 

EDIT: A bit of research I found that Dwight Eisenhower also had a private pilot license but not sure if he ever flew an aircraft as the President, so looks like it never happened:

I did not know that...What do you know, Richard Nixon flew with United Airlines DC-10 from Washington to LAX so that would have been 'Executive One'....Very cool
