Hi.

Will be building an M-ITX rig soon, mainly for CPU intensive gaming such as FSX, ARMA, Total War but also for Lightroom.

As ITX only accepts max 16gb of RAM, I have to decide whether to go 2x8, 2x4 or 1x8.

I don't need 16gb right now and I would rather put the cash to the GPU but I'm going for a 4790k and I don't want the benefits of the extra cache (I would overclock an i5 from the start and will overclock the i7 later) being lost through going single channel.

I know dual channel doesn't do much but I'm keen to get some advice.

Thanks a lot.
