P3D v2.3 is absolutely INCREDIBLE!

Recommended Posts

Absolutely but you have to wait for Pet to release an update and I believe he is away until Oct. 8th.

I think LM are getting the CIA or the FBI to spy on Pet and they are timing the release of P3D V2 updates

with when they already know thanks to the spying that Pet is out of town.

Why would they do this? Because the P3D V2 Dev Team are sick and twisted individual and they are

doing it for kicks!

Here is the link for the FSUIPC so you can download. Pet will release once he is through with laughing it

up with P3D Dev. Team. Yes I think he is in on it!

Its great to hear lots of people are having good luck with V2.4 but I still get blurries in 2.4 :( some say going back to 2.3 has fixed the problem. I have an AMD 6 core prosessor with a GTX750Ti graphics card. I admitt I got a little better by maxing my scenery centre out and increasing my vegetation autogen and building to very dense but it still aint "sharp" as you put it. Any Ideas?? cheers

There is now one ring to rule them all...and that's all you need...DSR!   Set it to 2.0 and set your smoothness to default/ 33 %.  You don't need a thing running in nVidia Inspector....and the clarity will blow your mind.  It looks simply, life-like...ORBX Global houses where you can almost see the shingles!  Another win..is that now the roads are so well defined...and the traffic upon it...THAT will blow you away...it now looks like road traffic...and especially at dawn and dusk.  ORBX's road lights (smallest setting) are so well defined in the orb...and so clear..well..you will have never seen this amount of clarity...even with the highest SGSS settings.....DSR transforms the entire scene, let me tell ya....and oh...looks awesome in FSX!

Crank up the sim...'turn the key on' for DSR...and the rest will be history....

I believe it is Dynamic Super Resolution. But I am not entirely sure of that:-)

Is this something that only exists in the newest videocards ? I don't find such a setting in Nvidia Config Panel. Got a GTX770 2G

It will work with that card, you have to download and install the latest Nvidia Driver 344.48.

Hi,

i can´t really imagine DSR will help on the blurry thing because it does not know anything about the textures P3D is trying to load.

So what it is is kind of a post process to what P3D was producing. If P3D produces unsharp textures it will only upsample those blurry textures.

Anything else would imply influencing the overall texture loading process of P3D.

Greetings
