Weight & Balance

Recommended Posts

Finally bought it last Friday for FSX. No complaints so far. What I am looking for is some sort of tables or information on how to calculate loads based on the range of the flight and the altitude. For example, if I want to fly at FL370 how can I calculate the adequate load weight/distribution + fuel to allow me to fly at that chosen altitude. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Thanks

Hi Joaquin.

This is a great a/c. It was also supplied with lots and lots of detailed manuals, including the Flight Crew Operating Manual(FCOM). There are also some very good flight planning tools out there, eg, TOPCAT, AND PFPX .

Also:

http://www.md-11.org/index.html   Goto the History tab, at the bottom is a Payload Range tab with the information you need

Also, check out:

Smartcockpit and select the MD11
