Wow thats a lot of polys - to bad its not viable at the moment

Thanks for the information, it sounded much harder than I thought especially with the FS9 compiler.

 

However I still hope that some way around it could be found - e.g. having a transparent gauge on the windscreen (like the NGX's HUGS) and display a custom rain effect if rain is being fed through Activesky or detected via FSUIPC/Simconnect etc. Parts of the windscreen would clear when wiper switch is moved, perhaps via a LUA script or something like that.

 

After all PMDG once said weather radars couldn't be done.....and here we are. Again I would happily pay extra if it can be done.
