I reinstalled and now it works, GREAT!!! But it speaks so low I can hardly hear what they are saying, I changed it to max in my mixer and under voce config I've set every voice to max, where else can you turn up the controllers voice??

"I reinstalled and now it works,"

Did you Uninstall anything first?

What was reinstalled to make everything work this time around?

I can't seem to recall, it was a pack i got from a friend who works at a studio, Acapella or something.

So you managed to get it to work ok?! I am glad you sort it out. As for the voices volume, well, if you already maxed the volume for every voice in the voiceconfig.exe utility and you still barely hear them, i guess the only viable solution is to lower your fsx volume from the windows volume mixer. I've set it about 30-35% and i found it to be the best balance between fsx sounds and vox atc.

PS: In the case of the vox atc "fake" error i would press pause twice after the program has finished initializing and showed the "vox atc error, please close vox atc". I have it sometimes when flying circuits, but if it is caused by the voices it won't work and you have to sort it out with the voices that cause the problem.

I reinstalled the VoxPop Base, done that before but now suddenly...wired.... Yea, but my FSX is down to almost bottom, wonder if I mist something, VoxAtc 5 was no problem....

Yeah, i have heard that some people had problems with vox pop voices but personally, i have never  encountered issues with them. I would firstly install vox pop base and then the voices. And it works like a charm. Glad you sorted it out though.

Try to also play with the sliders from inside FSX and after that set the windows volume mixer to a value that helps you hear the voices from vox atc. I also had problems hearing them over the fsx sounds and after playing with the sliders inside the simulator and the windows volume mixer, i found the balance between both of them.
