PMDG 777 position report and VATSIM

Hey. IN T7 you've got something like "POS REPORT". It is very helpful in flight from Europe to USA (for example). It is working on VATSIM? I mean, Gander and Shanwick Oceanic will se this report?

No, CPDLC is not integrated with VATSIM, or with anything for that matter.

 

We can hope that new vatsim client will be able to integrate in T7 if PMDG is interested.

At the moment it is a dummy function. In fact,  "It doesn't send anything" as the manual states.

Really really irritating......6 TIMES, come one guys.....!

 

But to be honest it is one of many flaws that AVSIM has.....not the users fault.......but AVSIMs fault......proven by that the fact that this happens allmost every day lately.

 

Where in the world is it possible that a post actually does post when you get a "service unavailable" message?

 

At least when you text with your phone it will say...."service unavailable, as soon as you are online again, your message will be transmitted"!.....or something like that.
