I am in Ketchikan atm, And the first time I heard the sound of Thunder.

Almost 2 months since the last flight, time to do it again ...

 

Early in the morning, as you can see with the long shadows of the trees

 

 

The hills around Stewart are quite high, I have to climb fast

 

 

It's cold in Alaska, hence glaciers

 

 

I could have flown higher, but I like to fly close to the clouds ...

 

 

... and watch them passing by the windows - for almost touching them by hand (unfortunately a screenshot doesn't show the sensation of passing by closely)

Good to see you continuing the tour Uwe and great screenshots. Andras has done a wonderful job with the HD Mesh in Alaska and I remember after watching the series Flying Wild Alaska, I'd always go and try some of the flights myself.

Yes, highly recommended ... the bush strips are quite challenging and not as "boring" as landing on a long and wide airport runway.
