Another radar gauge for VC & Window usage

Recommended Posts

To help, transparency AA will do the trick. Well, it does here and that's with 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling.

I'll give that a try, might impact the performance of this glorified abacus that I run with :BigGrin:

might impact the performance

It will, especially in cloudy skies but later cards can handle the extra load just fine and also produce nice analogue gauges and lines without shimmering. Worth the cost. Good luck. :smile:

but PMDG JS41 integration is working well.

Just have a look on pages above.

Confirm... but you have to carefully read previous page :)

Hello,

I have uploaded Version 1.0 to the AVSIM library.

So what's new?

  • ADD option "starton"
  • ADD mouse click spots on ConeRadGauge in case of use out of Q400
  • ADD option "beam" for the beam sweep animation
  • ADD Gain knob handling for the Q400 (ConeRadGauge)
  • FIX Test mode did not display colors in all use cases
  • FIX Test mode: Replace black color with green
  • FIX some code optimizations for lower CPU cost

Available soon :smile:

Roland

Have downloaded ver 1 and all I get is a blank screen. The previous versions were all OK on my system. I have installed it as a panel as the following:

[Window05]
size_mm=200,200
zorder=4
gauge00=RolasnRadar!ShellRadGauge, 0,0,200,200 sweep|beam|icing|nogps

Have I done anything wrong?

John,

Hum, as far as I remember I haven't done any change in ShellRadGauge.

You miss the last ','

Can you try the following:

[Window05]
size_mm=200,200
zorder=4
gauge00=RolasnRadar!ShellRadGauge, 0,0,,, sweep|beam|icing|nogps

Hi Roland

Many thanks for the prompt reply but that did not work either. Still get a black square. If I knew how to attach a file, I would post you a screenie.

[Window05]
size_mm=200,200
zorder=4
gauge00=RolasnRadar!ShellRadGauge, 0,0,200,200, sweep|beam|icing|nogps

Regards
John

John,

Can you try

[Window05]

size_mm=500,500
zorder=4
gauge00=RolasnRadar!ShellRadGauge, 0,0,,, sweep|icing|nogps

Of course you remember that you have to switch the radar ON.
Do you have the click spots over the shell knobs?

Thanks Roland but I'm afraid that didn't help. All I get is a black square with no gauge showing..
