Yes, FTX Global.

Thank you Zicheng... Can I use only the default installer, or is there a patch?

Anyway, I just did what I should have done in the 1st place - went to the ORBX Forums at their site, and there is already a support forum for FSX SE :-)

The newest version of installer will work. They said they would officially support FSX:SE. But since FTX Global has no dll files associated, it should work fine in FSX:SE even with an old installer.

I just took the plunge and uninstalled fsx boxed. Then uninstalled fsx steam. Then did a clean install of steam. I had ORBX installed when I had FSX boxed, only. Uninstalled ORBX when did the others. Now I want to re-install ORBX back into steam. I have the original download files of ORBX base and vector. Before I continue,I decided to try downloading files from scratch, and try installing then. When I tried installing earlier, I was getting an unusual error message. It is 10:50 local. It is now,11:10 and new install produces same error.  Radio Buttons01> On Next,Line 10; Arguement 2 must be of type string.   Stack Traceback   1; [Radio Buttons 01 > On Next Line; 10 in main chunk    What do I need to do?  Thanks    S. You still have the remnants of FSX Boxed in your registry. The only way you can install FSX-SE with certainty is to make sure EVERY trace of the old FSX is deleted from your computer file library and registry. Here is a link to such a tool.

Kind regards

I have the same problem. I had FSX:SE full installation but something went wrong so I decided to reinstall the whole sim. I uninstall all addons, FSX:SE, deleted all remaining folders, cleanded registry with CC and also with FSX tweakfs, but still I have the problem during fresh installation. Using the latest file I downloaded from eshop. Don't want to reinstall the whole windows ... :(

Unfortunately I can't login to ORBX support forum ...

The only way to be absolutely sure is to format you're drive
