Milviz 737-200 and Reality XP Wx500

Recommended Posts

I just picked up the 737 on sale yesterday . I have not had much time to read everything about it but did a few Google searches on the Weather Radar.

As I understand it  - it is non functional in the Milviz 737.

I fly without the FMS and was wondering if anyone has ever put the Reality XP Wx500 into the panel- kinda the way it appears in the J4100?  Or should I just stop looking now - like "it ain't going to happen"

Thanks,

Rob Hollis

We have no intention of putting any new gauges into the 737 at this time.

While the Wx is non-functional, the TCAS does work. Play with the buttons on the right side of the frame... B)

Thanks guys,

Yeah I have not done much but start'er up a fiddle around. I had bought the Reality Wx last week for the J4100 and just wanted to see if there was a (user) way to custom place it into that panel with panel coordinates like the J4 did.

Understood - not going to happen.

Your 737 is a nice product. Really glad to see option to not have FMC - being an old school nav guy.

I too much prefer the SP77 option. The only active 'gauge area' on the Wx is the screen. The rest of the frame and buttons are 3d modeled and textured.

Of course there is nothing preventing you from placing your RXP Wx gauge on a new popup panel...

Thanks Bill for the quick feed back.

I will stick with the popup option.
