Installer P3D v2.5 compatible?

Recommended Posts

I have the same question. Have plans to buy it but the installer must be 2.5 compatible.

Hi there,

All PrecipitFX features that were available on P3D v2.4 work on v2.5, rain and snow textures included.

An update will be released in early March for the remaining effects (Brake smoke, wheels spray and engine wash) that were not possible on v2.4.

More info on the coming update: http://fsfx.oldprop.com/en/blog/2015/02/12/in-the-coming-months/

I hope this answers your questions!

I'm a new user of PrecipitFX, bought it for use with 2.4 and now happily using it with 2.5. I can confirm no problems as per Keven's comments above.

Ive got the 777 as well, worked OK in 2.4 but I havent reinstalled it for 2.5 yet so I cant speak from experience there.

Thanks for the replies.  So, OzWhitey, am I to understand that you installed it into v2.5, using the current installer, without any errors or issues?
