RealAir Duke B60 V2

Recommended Posts

Hi

Is it possible to setup the realityxp gns 530 in the duke  when I try to assign a button to an action from the realltyxp.lib  I get an error message to say can't find folder or files linda\aircrafts\RealAir Duke v2\config-mcp.lua

In my aircraft Duke folder I have

actions.lua

indent.lua

lib-realityxp.lua

Thanks Andy

Hi Andy

I think we better start by getting the files in the correct folders.

The lib-realityxp.lua should remain in the \linda\system\lib folder. It is loaded when LINDA is initialised.

In the \linda\aircrafts\realair duke\ folder you should have: actions.lau, ident.lua and readme.txt.

In the \linda-cfg\aircrafts\realair duke\ folder you should have the configuration files, including: config-hid.lau and config-mcp.lua.  The latter file is only created when you have an original MCP and you first save a button assignment.

I also need to ask you what version of LINDA you are using. If you are using 2.5.7 or 2.6.0 beta you will also have user.lua file in the \linda\aircrafts\ folder which you should place any code/functions you want to use.

Hi

Thanks for reply,  using version 2.5.7

Have removed the lib-realityxp.lua from duke folder and now just have actions & indent lua's.

In linda-cfg\aircraft\realair duke\folder I do have the    config-hid.lua  no config-mcp.lua

are you saying regarding the config-mcp.lua this will only work if I have MCP installed

.

In the \linda\aircraft\folder I don't have the user.lua  but it is in the linda\libs\folder

hi byronp

I'm am sorry but I did type up a response yesterday but it doesn't seem to have been posted.

The config-mcp***.lua files are only created if you have the MCP enabled (on Setup MCP page) and you then select the MCP Combo. It is then created automatically. The *** depends on the type of MCP in use.  If you don't have a MCP Combo then you don't need these config files and they will no effect if programmed.

The user.lua file is a new addition. It should be created in the \linda\aircrafts\{aircraft} folder from \linda\data\templates\users. If this hasn't be created automatically, then just create an empty file for your own LUA code in the \modules\linda\{aircraft} folder.  This code will apply only to your selected aircraft. Alternatively, if you are thinking of adding your own code for all aircraft then place your code in the lib-user.lua you found.
