I use to look at myself in the mirror and practice raising my eyebrows as a kid until it became a part of me.

Now thats, an impact.

Long before Spock, I stood in front of a mirror practicing the 'three-finger salute.' Decades later however, despite spending six times the amount of time I'd spent mastering that questionable skill, I had no success whatsoever mastering the "Vulcan salute..."

Easy as breathing.............

With either hand!!!

By the way, the proper response to the greeting "Live long and prosper." is the polite reply, "Peace, and long life."

Anyway, before we all get too somber, lets remember life is a journey with lots of destinations. Sad times like this, but it's the fun times and the good memories that we really hold onto.

He was like 250 years old, right?  Plus he got killed and his brain moved around and mind-melded a couple of times?  I remember Bones doing a brain transplant on one episode after some aliens took his brain to run their world.

He truly changed a generation or more of us.  It's very easy to imagine his real life personality being like Spock.

He has been and will always be.....

As well I used to stand in front of the mirror and practice the Vulcan salute  B)

Star Trek was very much apart of my childhood and all the way through adulthood as well with every new movie they would produce. The Wrath Of Khan will always be my favourite and The Voyage Home will always make me laugh as it took a completely different direction and was a lot of fun.

I went to ComicCon last year and met Shatner in person for reasons like this, he's 83. Wish I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Nimoy. Another icon of TOS has passed on, RIP...

I was a big fan of the TV series and of the Star Trek films. He was my favourite character. Dry humour and a very likeable person.

He was also very good in Mission Impossible TV series. How they ever engineered those plots I'll never know.

Remembered with affection. LLAP :Applause:

Star Trek Online players pay their respect to Leonard Nimoy

I want to once again express my heartfelt condolences to the friends, family, and fans of Leonard Nimoy. Everyone at Cryptic Studios was saddened to hear of his passing and we want to make sure we never forget the cultural impact of the man or the character he played. To that end, the Star Trek Online team will implement a standing in-game memorial to Spock and Leonard Nimoy this Thursday March 5th with our regular weekly maintenance.

In this way, we hope to keep his memory as alive in our game as he is in all of our hearts.

Of all of the characters to ever grace the Star Trek universe, Mr. Spock was my favorite.  Leonard Nimoy may no longer be with us, but he will not be forgotten.

I remember being a kid and watching an episode of "In Search Of" about the Ogopogo in Kelowna BC and thinking wow a big star like Spock is actually talking about where I live.

Yesterday was a somber day. How fast the years and ours lives pass us by.

I already miss you Leonard

RIP
