Taxi2Gate MMMX Prepar3d v2 compatibility

Recommended Posts

Hi,

does anybody know if Taxi2Gate MMMX works in Prepar3d v2.5? Does the night lighting work? I'm asking because it's currently on sale at Simmarket and it looks stunning in FSX. But I don't want to buy and then find out that it doesn't work in P3D v2. And yes, I know that it doesn't have a native P3D installer, but other FSX versions of Taxi2Gate sceneries work fine in P3D.

I have it installed yes but there is no rwy lights and i cant remember how much light there was in FSX.

There is the red lights from the houses and the city and airport is lighted up.

This is a bargain . One of the best scenerys out there if you ask me.

Try max out this . The performance is so great

Thanks for the information. I bought the scenery. Really awesome scenery! As far as I can tell (and I compared to screenshots from FSX) everything works fine except for the runway lights. I added default runway lights with ADE. Took me about an hour and now everything works perfect. Great purchase especially since it is on sale at Simmarket at the moment...

I think it's a common problem with non-P3D sceneries. Andre Folkers aka awf suggested on Aerosoft forums that there is easy way to fix "runaway lights" issue, but he did not elaborate any further. Would be very interesting to know.

Yes indeed. Wonder how UK2000 manage it then? . Those rwylights in P3DV2 looks and feels great down the runway.

Fixing the custom runway lights which come with the sceneries is not easy because from what I read, they are mostly based on FS9 techniques and this is no longer supported in Prepar3d. That's also why most of the Aerosoft sceneries don't have runway lights. However, it is fairly easy to add default runway lights if you have a little bit of knowledge of ADE. It just takes some editing of the AFCAD file.
