Terrain Spiking

Recommended Posts

I've been getting brief flashes of spiking in both 2.4 and 2.5 as I pan around. Is this normal? Never had it in FSX. This is a fairly new card that I bought specifically for P3D. My settings aren't maxed at all. I do have cloud shadows enabled on low quality at 40k distance. Tessellation is on high.

Hey Super,,

Did you apply the tweaks as suggested at the LM Learning Center? If not, start there and see if that helps. I don't have any other tweaks in my cfg file other than what LM suggests and I'm not seeing those spikes under normal conditions. I do get them when I delete my shader cache but it's only as soon as the sim loads and I pan around for the first time.
