There certainly is no issue with "cosmetics" on the 850 but let's hope they are putting adequate time on the SYSTEMS !!!!

Really looking forward to some favorable initial reports --- !!!

Navigraph is indeed being featured, but if it has the same lame FMC as the S550, that is not good enough IMHO  :huh:

Do you know which model of the FMS the Hawker will have .. like Universal model xxx?

 

Does it support SIDs /STARs / VNAV?

It will.

 

In fact, I reckon the reason it's been delayed all this time is to introduce the Navigraph systems. Carenado wisely introduced the Navigraph patch to the Citation II and it feels almost like a test bed product. I reckon they'll release a patch to the S550 Navigraph update at a similar time as when the Hawker 850XP is released.

 

The Hawker has a Proline 21 system.

 

It will support SIDs/STARs, not sure how VNAV goes given the S550 Navigraph update.

I hope I'm proved wrong but I expect it will have a long bug list, a long list of things not simulated or simplified, and be overpriced.

 

For those not on Facebook, Carenado posted 16 new pictures of the H850XP on 25th March and announced "countdown begun" and "available soon", whatever that means.
